New Business

I. Ronald McDonald House



Date: Saturday, March 16, 2013 
Time: 2 pm - 4 pm 
Where: 763 S. Pasadena Ave.
What: This is a division event in Pasadena. We will be help cleaning around the house. Some of us will be assigned to assist with tasks that need to be done at the Ronald McDonald house. This is another opportunity to need key clubbers from other schools in our division. 

II. March DCM


Date: Saturday, March 30, 2013
Time: 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Where: Smith Park
What: Come to our division meeting, see the new officers from all the schools in our division, and sing happy birthday to key clubbers that have their birthday this month. Learn about new division events we are doing and what events other schools have done during the month. There is free food for members that go!


III. Pancake Breakfast/ K - 1 Day


Date: Saturday, March 30, 2013
Time: 6 am - 12 pm ( 2 hour shifts)
Where: Smith Park (232 W. Broadway, San Gabriel)
What: THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT EVENTS. ( You can NOT go go back and forth between the two events. You must stay at one event until it is over or you sign out.)

- Pancake Breakfast is an event where we have a variety of jobs for you all to do. We volunteer at pancake breakfast with other schools that the kiwanis advisers ask to help with the event. The jobs include: making balloons, passing out balloons, making pancakes and sausage, raffle ticket sale, guard prizes and eggs for egg hunt, giving plates and utensils, getting the food for everyone in line, manage the drinks and butter table, and clean up.

- K - 1 Day is another event that happens on the same day as Pancake Breakfast and is at the same park only on the other side. This event has key clubs managing booths that they created for fundraising. You will be volunteering at a game booth for our school. You will teach the game to little kids, manage the game, attract people to play, and hand out the prizes we give you.

IV. D10S Banquet


Date: Friday, April 5, 2013
Time: 6 pm - 10 pm
Where: Luminarias Restaurant (3500 Ramona Blvd., Monterey Park)
What: Come and celebrate this year of service at the division's end - of - the - year banquet. See most of the seniors from the key clubs for the last time (Maybe). This is a semi - formal event so dress appropriately. The cost for the event is $ 25. There is only pre - sale tickets so if you want to go make sure to sign up at our next meet and have the money ready just in case. 


Note: 

- You can get an hour by writing an article and sending it to our email, sangabrielkeyclub@yahoo.com.

- We are doing pre- orders for our school club gear. So sign up to buy our new gear at our next meeting. 

- Seniors scholarships are due April 15 (Kiwanis). Pick up Kiwanis scholarship application from Mr. Gin or the office.
