I. Pancake Breakfast/ K - 1 Day

Date: Saturday, March 30, 2013
Time: 6 am - 12 pm (2 Shifts)
Where: Smith Park (232 W. Broadway, San Gabriel)
What: THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT EVENTS. ( You can NOT go go back and forth between the two events. You must stay at one event until it is over or you sign out.)

- Pancake Breakfast is an event where we have a variety of jobs for you all to do. We volunteer at pancake breakfast with other schools that the kiwanis advisers ask to help with the event. The jobs include: making balloons, passing out balloons, making pancakes and sausage, raffle ticket sale, guard prizes and eggs for egg hunt, giving plates and utensils, getting the food for everyone in line, manage the drinks and butter table, and clean up. 

- K - 1 Day is another event that happens on the same day as Pancake Breakfast and is at the same park only on the other side. This event has key clubs managing booths that they created for fundraising. You will be volunteering at a game booth for our school. You will teach the game to little kids, manage the game, attract people to play, and hand out the prizes we give you.

III. D10S Banquet

Date: Friday, April 5, 2013
Time: 6 pm - 10 pm
Where: Luminarias Restaurant (3500 Ramona Blvd., Monterey Park)
What: Come and celebrate this year of service at the division's end - of - the - year banquet. See most of the seniors from the key clubs for the last time (Maybe). This is a semi - formal event so dress appropriately. The cost for the event is $ 23. There is only pre - sale tickets. The last day to buy tickets was actually this Thursday, but if you go to the DCM you can talk to Kelly Lau about if you can still buy one then.

I. Alhambra Convalescent Home

Date: Saturday, March 9, 2013 
Time: 10 am - 12 pm
Where: 415 Garfield Ave., Alhambra
What: This a division event so come and spend time with other key clubbers and some elderly people. You could help brighten up an elderly person's day since some of them don't have people that can visit them a lot. Listen and talk to the people who live at the home and make them feel special to have some key clubbers wanting to listen to what they have to say.

IV. Easter Egg Stuffing

Where: 250 S. Mission Dr., San Gabriel
What: This event is during spring break so if you and friends want to get out of the house but don't know what to do why not come and help stuff the plastic eggs for our other event, Pancake Breakfast. This is a very simple event and it is walking distance from SGHS. If you live near by, come and get easy hours.

What: This is a drive for jeans to give to homeless people in need of jeans. We are accepting any kind of jeans as long as they are wearable. The jean should be clean. Last year we collected and donated 285 jeans. Drop of classrooms are Gin (A211), Osborn (A205), Malone (SA - 3), Keller (SA - 8), and Bassette (L214).

What: WE will be helping unloading cars and directing traffic. We will need 20 volunteers for this event. There are two shifts available: 8 am - 12 pm and 12 pm - 4 pm. There is usually food provided for lunch.
