I. Old Business

a. Shakey’s Night (Meeting + Fundraiser)

Thanks for turning in your dues on TIME! If you have not paid your dues you will now have to pay late fees. The roster and your volunteer hours are also posted online on the BlogSpot (link is above). It is crucial that you make sure your name is spelled CORRECTLY. Read the entire blog post before asking anything.

b. T-Shirts and Sweaters

Light blue t-shirts are available in Large for $10, while the dark blue comes in medium for $5. If you’re interested in a sweater for $25, don’t hesitate at all to sign up or let an officer know! We need at least 2 dozen members just like you to place the order. Also, please be aware that there will be events in the future where the t-shirt/sweater are required.

II. New Business

a. Dinner in the Park [ Thursday Nov. 26 @ Pasadena Central Park 275 S Raymond Ave Pasadena + 3 Shifts Roughly 10 minute drive from SGHS]

Just recently made into a Divisional event, set some time aside for helping others in the name of Thanksgiving! Get a chance to meet cool like-minded key clubbers like yourselves from D10S and our recently separated friends in D10N! Together, we will be serving the homeless, senior citizens, those alone on a holiday, and those unable to afford a holiday meal. Shifts available, 1st 9AM-11AM Set-up, 2nd 11AM-2PM Greeting & serving the guests, 3rd 2PM to 4PM Clean-up crew. Please register online at, bring the confirmation sheet, and bring it to the volunteer registration table. Plan to arrive early because there will be a line so the sooner you get there the sooner you get to help out! It’s time to give back by helping those who feel invisible.

b. UCLA Circle K: Key 2 College [ Sunday Nov. 22 @ UCLA Humanities Building from 9AM – 4PM Roughly 45 minute drive ]

We just recieved an e-mail about an annual program at UCLA this Sunday, hosted by their Circle K (college Key Club) that aims to educate high school students about higher education, financial aids/scholarships, personal statements, and much more through beneficial activities! Students are also able to ask their questions about college. Food is provided, and make sure you can go FOR SURE because we have to make reservations. If you have the time we highly recommend going!

c. November DCM [ Sunday Nov. 29 @ Almansor Park from 1PM - 2:30PM ]

In honor of Kiwanis Month (November), there is going to be a spirit contest so bring your fall rally madness over and scream with us! Come dressed in our D10S shirts, fall rally gear, anything BURSTING with D10S spirit! Also be among the first to hear what’s going on in our fast-paced division.
